Concrete Leveling / Concrete Lifting/ Mudjacking / Polyjacking

How much does concrete leveling cost?
Concrete leveling typically costs less than half the cost of replacement. It’s also faster and eliminates the hassles associated with tear-out. Because each project is unique, we usually make site visits for accurate quoting for concrete leveling and concrete lifting. Call 317-343-0460. However, if you’d like to discuss details ahead of time, feel free to email us pics and measurements to support@liftitlevel.com.
How long do I have to wait before I use the raised concrete?
Our foams fully cure in about 15 minutes, leaving a strong, dense, stabilized base that’s ready to use when the job is complete. Other methods require an additional day or two after completion before re-entry is advised.
Is there a difference between mudjacking vs. polyjacking?
Yes. The terms are often used interchangeably when referring to concrete leveling and concrete lifting, but there is a difference. Traditional mudjacking has been around for a while. However, due to re-settlement and erosion issues associated with mudjacking, there was a demand for a more reliable concrete leveling or concrete lifting method. Polyurethane polyjacking was created to improve on the older methods. The polyurethane foam offers greater control and is much lighter which doesn’t overburden the soil. It’s extremely strong, the injection holes are much smaller, easier to patch, and more aesthetically pleasing. The polyurethane foam we use is environmentally friendly, will keep its shape, isn’t affected by water, it’s cleaner, and is ready to use when our work is completed. Does LIFT IT LEVEL do commercial concrete raising?
Yes, we work for all types of businesses. From retail to office to heavy industrial, we raise sunken concrete and stabilize concrete that is weak, uneven, or has voids underneath. Did you know that ‘Trip and Fall Injuries’ are one of the most common injuries and liabilities around a workplace?
Do I have to be present for the concrete leveling or concrete lifting to receive an estimate?
No, although we always prefer meeting customers, you usually don’t need to be there as long as we have complete access to the concrete needed lifted.
What types of concrete do you raise?
We lift almost all types of concrete including, Residential and commercial sidewalks, drives, porches, steps, patios, pool decks, floors, slabs, ramps, and more. Call or contact us if you’d like more details.
Why does concrete settle?
There are many reasons, but the two most common in central Indiana are Poor Compaction and Poor Drainage. Poor compaction occurs on back-filled soils during construction. If the soil was not compacted correctly after the back-fill, the underlying soil will settle. Poor drainage happens when surface water doesn’t drain properly. When water saturates the soil under the slab, the soil is more likely to move. For example, think about stepping in mud. The soil moves as pressure is applied. Downspouts and drain tiles need to be installed correctly and the ground and concrete need to be sloped away from the building.
Do you offer other concrete repair services?
We focus on concrete leveling and stabilization, but when needed, we do offer concrete caulking and other services to ensure overall job quality.
What is void filling?
Void filling is a method used to stabilize concrete that has limited or compromised support underneath. Voids can occur from erosion, settling, and even animals. We fill voids using our polyurethane foam that fills the void and stabilizes the soil to prevent further problems down the road.
Can LIFT IT LEVEL always fix my concrete that needs repair?
No. When concrete is too ‘crumbly’ or ‘cracked-up’, replacement maybe your best option. Feel free to email or text us a picture of the problem area and we would be happy to discuss your best options.
Do you offer a warranty?
Yes, ask about our 5-year warranty.
